    ставил на 3.4.5, ошибок не вылезает, но работоспосбность не установлена покачто.
     
    ошибка с обновлением правится удалением файла version.xml с сервера в каталоге приложения!
     
     
    admin\applications_addon\other\duplicates\xml\version.xml

    в ipb_style.css найди
     
    #community_app_menu > li > a {
     
    и попробуй убрать color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.400)
     
    у меня в браузере наследованный куда лучше выглядит чем белый на светлом фоне 
     
    а по поводу безысходности - если соблюдать правила (к примеру прикреплять рисунки на данный ресурс методом вложения) - никто не откажет в помощи, если это в его силах
