ok no folder or nothing then go to admin/upgrade correct?

do i need to have a folder or just place the files in the root IPB folder?

I have this annoying pop up that does not go away and says to upgrade my IPB Good news! Version 4.2.7 of Invision Community is now available. Upgrade Now When i click on it takes me to my back-end then to your site i downloaded the file but i have no idea how to upgrade IPB i am so new to this.. Thanks in advance.

how do i update to the new version? 4.2.7? i have the red update notification bar up and its getting annoying i downloaded the zip i am new to IPB.. sry
