Как применить метод авторизации на форуме?

Всем привет. Изначально мне нужно было убрать шифрование пароля на форуме. Я решил создать (в админ панели) новый метод авторизации через MySQL Database с Password Encryption Type : Plain Text. Метод создался и включился, но на самом форуме ничего не поменялось. Версия движка - v4.5.4

    Такие пользователи лет 20 назад уже существовали, которые вместо помощи и предоставления ссылочной массы писали тупой ответ "Такое уже было на форуме, ищите сами", и делали они такое не раз.
