Сбросили машинку и накатили braincp (был isp) поставили сайт/форум-dle/ips соответственно. На обоих движках напрочь отказываются работать js скрипты. В логах сервера пусто. Консоль говорит что не может достучаться до файлов. Даже права выдавали и безрезультатно. В чем может быть проблема? На isp и Весте все ок, на форуме Брейна ничего не нашел. Сервер Apache 2.4, php 7.3, мост fastcgi.

Выбираешь нужную тебе базу в админке>система>вход и регистрация. Там из предложенных методов уже сразу идёт мд5.

Ну у меня на 4.2 работало, сейчас не знаю. Перешел на переделанный сток.

Решил проблему, в 4.3 изменили код и раскидали все по полочкам. У меня стоял тип шифрования паролей на внешке двойной мд5, для того что бы добавить этот метод проверки раньше нужно было стучать в /system/login/external.php Сейчас же это дело лежит немного дальше /system/Login/Handler/ExternalDatabase/ExternalDatabase.php Еще можно не заморачиваться и добавлять свой код хеша паса и условия для них прямо в настройках. Отключение стандартного метода авторизации происходит автоматически если в настройках отключить новую регистрацию, а в кастомном методе включить создание учетки при первом логине.
